For generations, the Rialto has been part of growing up in Westfield. We had birthday parties and first dates here … and maybe even snuck in the side door.
Now, we have the chance to bring it back and revitalize it for the next generation.
We’re 80% of the way there.
New Jersey has awarded the Rialto $43.3 million toward its transformation into a world-class home for live music, theater, art, film, education, and community events. Now we need to raise the final $10 million to make it happen.
Calling all WHS alumni!
Join the Rialto WHS Alumni Challenge* and help your graduating class raise the most funds. We're thinking the winning class gets its next big reunion at the new Rialto.**
Give $100. Go bigger with an engraved paving stone or theater seat. And be sure to credit your graduating class “team” when you donate.
There are more WHS alumni than there are Westfield residents, and we need us all! Our goal is to raise $1 million from alumni by January 7, 2027, to open in 2029.
Let’s make the magic last another 100+ years.
