Join us for an evening with Academy Award–nominated, BAFTA-winning producer Michael A. Jackman, who takes audiences inside how a film takes shape from first idea to finished product. A long-time Westfield resident, Jackman brings 40 years of experience across every stage of motion pictures, from development and production through post-production and global distribution.
His credits include Gangs of New York, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Arrival, Greyhound, and The Good Nurse. His most recent film, Conclave, won the BAFTA Award for Best Film and Outstanding British Film and earned Jackman an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture, while surpassing $100 million at the worldwide box office. Jackman previously served as Executive Vice President of Physical Production and Post at FilmNation Entertainment and sits on the Board of Directors of the New York Production Alliance. He is currently executive producing Three Incestuous Sisters, directed by Alice Rohrwacher and adapted from the best-selling book by Audrey Niffenegger. Jackman holds a degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
Watch this month's Spotlight event for a rare opportunity to hear directly from a working producer about collaboration, problem-solving, and what it takes to carry a story to final cut.
